In the app
Open Ehsaas and go to Settings → Delete account. Confirm, and the account closes straight away.
If you cannot open the app
By email
Write to [email protected] from any address, with the subject Delete my account, and include the mobile number the account is registered with.
We verify the request is really from you before deleting anything, then confirm once it is done — within 15 days at the latest, usually much sooner.
What gets deleted
- Your profile — name, photo, bio, age, languages, interests and mood tags
- Your chat messages, photos and voice notes
- Your stories, and any story replies or reactions
- Your voice introduction, if you recorded one
- Who you follow and who follows you
- Your call history
What we have to keep
- Records of purchases, earnings and payouts
- Tax and accounting law requires us to keep financial records for a set number of years. These show that a transaction happened — they do not contain your conversations.
- A record of a ban and any upheld reports
- So that an account banned for harming someone cannot simply be created again the next day.
Before you delete
Deleting forfeits any coins you have not spent and any earnings you have not withdrawn. If you have a balance to withdraw, request the withdrawal and wait for it to be paid first.
