Private voice chat

Talk without showing your face or your number.

On Ehsaas you talk by voice, as an avatar. Other people never see your phone number or an uploaded photo. Here is exactly what stays private, and what does not, so you can decide with the full picture.

Private, not anonymous: what that means

Many apps say "anonymous" and mean very little. We would rather be exact.

Ehsaas is private, not anonymous. You sign in with your phone number so that every account is a real person, and that is how we stop bots and ban repeat offenders. But other people on Ehsaas do not get your number, your photo or your real-world details. They get your voice and your avatar.

What we keep, and why

  • Your phone number

To sign you in and keep accounts real. It is not given to other users.

  • A short safety recording of calls

Calls are recorded only for safety, deleted after 24 hours, and opened only if the call is reported.

  • Reports and ban records

So people who break the rules cannot just come back.

Details are in our Privacy Policy.

Ways to stay private

  • ✓Pick an avatar and a display name that is not your full name.
  • ✓Keep the conversation inside the app. Do not share your number, address or workplace with someone you have just met.
  • ✓End any call at any time, and block in one tap.
  • ✓Never send money or share your UPI ID with another user.

Private does not mean unmoderated

Because we know who is on the app, we can act: reports are read by a person, and breaking the rules ends accounts. If someone harasses you, you can report them and they will not be told it was you.

Questions

Is Ehsaas anonymous?

No, and we do not claim it is. Ehsaas is private: other people never see your phone number or a photo of you. You sign in with your number so accounts are real, but it is not shared with other users.

Can people find my phone number?

Other users cannot see it. It is not shown on your profile or during calls.

Do I have to upload a photo?

No. Profiles use avatars, not photos.

Are my calls recorded?

Calls are recorded only for safety. Recordings are deleted after 24 hours and are opened only if the call is reported.

Can I use a fake name?

You choose a display name for your profile. Please do not impersonate anyone: pretending to be someone else is against our rules.

Can I talk without showing my face?

Yes. Calls start as voice, and video is only available when you and the other person are comfortable with it.

How do I report someone?

Use Report on their profile, during or after a call, or in a chat. Our team reads every report, and the person is not told it was you.
